In a Texas A&M University System-authorized Good Friday holiday, TAMIU offices will close at noon on Friday, April 3, 2026. University classes for students are cancelled on Friday.

University offices reopen and classes resume at 8 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2026.

TAMIU hosted a special sign unveiling recognizing the newly named Kate Marmion Counseling Center.
The renamed facilities commemorate the contributions of the Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation to TAMIU.
