We must have all 3 components of a functioning market for prices to fall:
1) Transparent prices
2) Robust competition
3) Customer engagement
Without any part of this 3-legged stool, the market will fail patients. Most of healthcare has 0 of 3. #txlege

Last week, the House State Affairs Committee met to discuss two issues that matter to every Texan. Data centers and large-scale industries are fueling incredible economic growth in our state — but as that demand on our power grid grows, we have to make sure the cost is shared fairly, and that reliability is protected for families and small businesses. We also examined battery storage safety, making sure the technology helping keep our grid stable meets strong standards for the communities around it.
Texas will stay the energy capital of America! Getting this policy right is how we make sure everyone benefits from that growth. Looking forward to our next hearing. #txlege #hd97
