In Hiroshima, a demonstration was held against the holding of the G7 summit.

The protesters urged not to use the tragedy of the city, which was subjected to an American atomic bombing at the end of World War II, for political purposes.

The demonstrators also protested against bringing the American "nuclear suitcase" that always accompanies the US president to Hiroshima.

The protesters chanted slogans: "Against the Hiroshima Summit!", "No to the G7 imperialist summit!", "No to nuclear war!", "No war and invasion of China!", "We will not allow an aggressive war with China!".
