D-Day Tribute – June 6, 1944
🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇨🇦
Eighty-two years ago today, thousands of ordinary young men from America, Britain, Canada, and other nations climbed down into landing craft and headed straight into hell on the beaches of Normandy.

They weren’t superheroes. They were farmers, mechanics, teachers, and kids who had never seen war up close. Many were seasick, terrified, and knew the odds were against them. Yet they stormed those beaches anyway, running through machine-gun fire, dodging mines, and carrying their wounded brothers because freedom was on the line.

In a single day, they cracked Hitler’s “Atlantic Wall” and began the long, bloody march that would liberate Europe. More than 4,400 Allied soldiers gave their lives that day so millions could live free.

Today, we don’t just remember the strategy or the date. We remember the courage of regular people who did something extraordinary when the world needed them most.

Thank you to every man who hit those beaches. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.
