Honestly, I don’t think it’s a beautiful prayer.
It’s clunky prose, and doesn’t match the quality of any prayer said during the liturgy.
I was just at Sunday mass at the cathedral. And when the deacon said the Dismissal: “Go in peace, glorifying the Lord by your life” that was my cue to gladly walked out :)

It treats the congregation as non-players in our own salvation; instead outsources the spiritual battle.
