Over 700 cold-stunned #seaturtles rescued and released back into the their natural habitat! 🐢💙 After two severe cold fronts in January, our #WildlifeRescue team worked hard to rehabilitate these #endangered turtles and get them back to their home.

The #Texas State Aquarium has successfully released 465 rehabilitated #coldstunned #seaturtles back into their natural habitat. On Friday, Jan. 31, we released 121 sea turtles, followed by the release of the remaining 344 sea turtles on Saturday, Feb.1.

Today, Tuesday, January 14, our Wildlife Rescue team released 275 cold-stunned sea turtles back into the Gulf of Mexico—just days after they were rescued from the Upper Laguna Madre.
