Do you love sports and hope to one day work with a sports team? If so, you do not want to miss this week’s meeting! ⚾️
Tomorrow night at 6:30 pm we will be joined by former @Padres PT, now sports rehab and performance clinic owner, Tanner Fields!
Effective today, Sunday, Feb. 21, @CityofSanMarcos has lifted the boil water advisory for all City of San Marcos water customers as testing has confirmed the water is safe to drink. #txst
Campus-operations update:
All classes in-person & virtual are canceled until 8 am on Wednesday, Feb. 24. We know our community is dealing with the aftermath of the storm & we want to provide all Bobcats time to recover. #txst
The City will be passing out water bottles at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins St., from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. or while supplies last. Limit: one bag (20 bottles, 16 oz. each) per vehicle or party. Please take only what you need and be courteous to your neighbors.
Both Harris & Commons Dining Halls are open & will serve ALL #TXST students through Feb. 22. Students who present a valid #TXST ID will receive a hot to-go meal regardless of whether they have a meal plan.
Thank you to all our staff for helping our Bobcats! ❤️

Any student who is still experiencing a power or water outage in their residence hall or Bobcat Village Apt should report it to their Resident Assistant (RA) on-call whose contact information can be found at the front desk/office.
Freezing rain and precipitation are coming down heavy within the area, and the ground is freezing. San Marcos roadways have been shut down. Remain indoors until the morning, and please do not travel until the roadways are clear.
#TXST is deploying shuttles to the Lantana Hall bus stop in San Marcos beginning Feb. 16 at 6 pm. Students living on or off-campus can access the shuttles to warm up. Shuttles will be available overnight, but we ask students to not plan on spending all night on the busses.
#TXST will be closed through 8 am 2/20 due to inclement weather & power outages which have impacted multiple university systems. All classes & events are canceled, including virtual/online classes & events. University offices will remain closed.
#TXST will be closed through Wednesday, February 17, at 8am due to inclement weather. Only designated essential personnel should report to work on the campuses.
Faculty are asked to communicate with their students directly on any alternate class plans.
