Hey Bobcats, attend our virtual coffee talk on February 2nd to learn everything you need to know about Texas State’s Graduate Program in Human Nutrition! We hope to see you there!
“This has by far been my favorite rotation that I have been at and so it brought me a lot of insight and even made me want to work at a rehab hospital or just inpatient!”
She was able to work in providing nutrition education, calculating their needs, diabetes education and management, hypertension education and management, stroke nutrition management and so much more!
“It was a very rewarding experience seeing how much work goes into picking, cleaning, and packaging the vegetables take, which didn’t even include the process of growing them. I learned a lot at this rotation!”
🚨DIETETIC INTERN SPOTLIGHT🚨
This is Gabby Magi, a Dietetic Intern during her rotation through the Central Texas Food Bank. On this day they worked in the community garden handpicking green beans, tomatoes, and radishes! They were able to fill 10 crates total.

First paper from the HOME study published today led by student-author Miriam Manboard who started with the #FoodSecurity Learning Community and @BobcatBounty at @txstnutrition as an undergrad. Seeing her now with an MS and a published researcher makes me so proud! @TxstResearch
