If Mamdani would like me, a white New Yorker who never owned slaves, to pay a black New Yorker who never was a slave, then I propose:
Every Muslim in NYC starting with Mamdani, should pay us for 9/11.
Please explain why the latter makes no sense but the former does.
A little stroll down Memory Lane.
Back in 2018, when I was a no-name biologist at Penn State, I emailed James out of the blue to vent my frustrations about sex pseudoscience spreading on the left and my inability to speak out without potentially ruining my career.
James asked me if he could share a screenshot of part of my email on Twitter. I said OK as long as it didn't include any information that could identify me.
James posted the screenshot and it started going viral immediately. Then Joe Rogan retweeted it. I was totally shocked.
Reading the comments helped me see that there was a massive thirst for clarity on this topic.
It also helped me realize that I wasn't alone in thinking the world had gone mad!
I had already been writing an essay on it, but it was mostly for myself, since I didn't think I'd ever have the courage to publish it, at least not with my name on it.
Seeing the huge positive response to my email screenshot made me realize I needed to finish the essay and publish it.
I finished it that week, and sent it to @Quillette. They published it on November 30, 2018. It went super viral, and I've been writing on this topic constantly ever since.
Last year I was invited to help define sex for the White House.
The moral of this story is to speak the truth and never give up!
A health care CEO was assassinated on a Manhattan street. Publishing the names and addresses of people who own second homes in New York City is beyond reckless. Frankly, it’s indefensible and could act as an assassin’s target list.
I’m having a very hard time reading the Fauci diary excerpts.
It’s bringing it all back. Everything from 2020 through 2023.
I spoke up early and often.
Starting from the very beginning -- in March 2020 -- I was against all of it, but I had a particular focus on kids and school closures. As a Democrat (former) in deep blue San Francisco, this made me a heretic. A target.
I tweeted, yes. But I also led rallies in San Francisco to open the schools. I sat through virtual school board meetings that dragged on for nine hours and somehow never addressed the actual elephant in the room: the schools were closed.
I wrote op-eds. I went on local media to plead with the school board, the teachers' unions. I did everything I could to get the public schools open -- just like private schools already were. I have 4 kids. All public school kids.
I lost most of my friends in this process of speaking up. There are family members I haven’t spoken to in over five years (their choice) and almost certainly never will.
And then there was my career which I'd spent 30 years building. Gone.
People love to say, “But it was worth it. You spoke the truth. You made a difference.”
The truth is: I’m not sure that’s true.
Schools in San Francisco stayed closed until September 2021. I made zero difference. I tried. It did nothing.
Reading these diary entries is brutal. I find myself weeping while reading them, and then I have to stop. I can't take it. I can't put myself through it.
This egomaniacal little shit of a man who lied constantly about everything: masking, spread, the vaccines, the closures, the origin. HE KNEW HE WAS LYING ABOUT ALL OF IT.
He goes on and on in the media and with his celebrity friends, soaking up the spotlight while lives were being ruined. He's gloating about Julia Roberts and Kim Kardashian and Barbra Streisand like some teenaged social media influencer. He's having private dinners with journalists while telling us we can't see family for Thanksgiving.
Many kids still haven’t recovered from the isolation. The disruption to their development.
And my life was upended and will never be the same.
It would be nice to say “Yeah, it was all worth it.” But I don’t know. And it’s all very hard to read. Because I was a nobody fighting a machine that was never going to fold.
I could have stayed quiet. Gone along. Pulled my kids out of public schools and put them in private. But it was never just about my kids. It was about everyone's kids.
If I'd done that, it would have all just passed. My life would have remained intact. I gained nothing. And impacted nothing.
People love to screech that I’m a grifter. The grift would have been staying quiet and leaving my reputation and salary intact. But I couldn’t keep my mouth shut. Because I knew that children were suffering.
And I lost it all.
He was a liar and I was right, and it doesn’t matter because I still lost it all.
It’s all very depressing right now. I have no sense of: “Yeah, but I did the right thing.” Maybe because I'm not a person of faith.
I just feel utterly deflated and sad about it all.
There are no rewards for going early. Just disdain. And loss. And you never get it back. No one will apologize for cutting me off after 30 years of friendship, for trying to take me down and end my career. More importantly, no one will apologize to the children harmed. To the families who could not care for dying loved ones. To the small business owners who lost it all.
No apologies to anyone.
And the fact is, you never get back what you gave up trying to do the right thing. You remain cancelled. And those other people who did the cancelling, they don't even know about the Fauci diaries.
So yeah, it's all kind of hard to wade through at the moment. And fight against the black-pilling of my soul.
Candace Owens went from suing her high school over alleged racism, to being a groupie in hip-hop music videos, to interning at Vogue, to becoming the CEO of a left-wing feminist blog, giving TED Talks on social activism, and starting a doxxing website targeting "hate speech" (including minors).
Then she "came out" as a conservative after it became popular following Trump's election, worked briefly at TPUSA, married the son of a British lord worth a fortune, was given platforms on Jewish-owned PragerU and The Daily Wire, before reinventing herself yet again as an outspoken antisemite and crackpot conspiracy theorist, now attempting to appeal back to the left while burning down all the conservative institutions that made her famous.
Celebrating with glee as she reaches "the number one podcast" by exploiting her so-called friend's assassination and launching a baseless campaign of harassment against his friends, employees, loved ones - including his widow and the mother of his children. While trying to get his killer off the hook.
And she has the gall to say Erika Kirk is the one chasing the spotlight.
“I stopped using the bathroom in my own school.”
Allowing men into girls’ bathrooms isn’t “inclusive.” As Ella so plainly explains, it’s exclusive to the very girls these spaces were created to protect.
The adults are cowards. @EllaFrei17 is a hero.
Liberals Are the Most Dangerous and Inherently Evil Threat to America (THREAD🧵)
The liberal is not merely mistaken, misguided, or simply wrong; they are soulless creatures lacking any moral compass or human empathy, a fact proven by their cold indifference to the millions of lives destroyed by their policies. They are predatory hunters, stalking the vulnerable not to help them, but to secure their votes and feed their insatiable hunger for power, treating the poor as pawns in a game of political chess while they themselves live in gated communities. This is a depraved ideology, morally corrupt beyond redemption, that has normalized the murder of the unborn and the mutilation of children, celebrating these atrocities as progress while claiming the high ground of compassion.
They are treacherous by nature, betraying their country and their neighbors at every turn, from selling our secrets to foreign adversaries to opening our borders to invaders who threaten the very fabric of our society. They are parasitic entities, feeding on the success and labor of hardworking Americans, draining the wealth of the productive to fund their corrupt machine and enrich their donor class. Their actions are malicious, acting with intentional harm and ill will against the very people they claim to serve, as seen in their deliberate destruction of our energy independence which drives up costs for the working class....
Kyle: I’ve cared about women’s sports since the 1970s.
I was a national team gymnast and national champion in the sport.
I was also the first gymnast to speak about abuse in the sport.
I’ve been an outspoken supporter of female athletes and safe training environments for 20 years.
Womens sports are for women.
Men can’t become women.
If they think they’re women they are free to compete in men’s. Because they aren’t women even if they think it.
Chromosomes don’t lie.
You’re losing. It’s ok to admit you were wrong.
@BretWeinstein Can you have a rational public discussion with people who when presented with a choice between clear evidence and elaborate conspiracies based on speculation, choose the conspiracies?
Thinking about how absolutely vile many of you have been to Lindsey Graham during his life—and will continue to be in his death.
Few realize he became an orphan and raised his young sister while he was in college—the first of his family to earn higher education.
He was a good, brilliant, self-deprecating man with consistent principles who leaves a legacy of tirelessly working for the people of South Carolina. Praying for Darline—the sister he raised—and all who loved him.
Sudden and awful news about Senator Lindsey Graham.
The United States Senate lost a foreign policy giant. On a personal level, he had always been kind, gracious, and thoughtful.
Gisele and I extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and staff.
