@OfficiallyKC@100ThingsUtah His bets also only average like $1.50. He just placed tens of thousands of them.
Regardless of your thoughts or the thoughts of the original poster, a rehab center formally diagnosed him with a gambling disorder & an anxiety disorder. I'm gonna go ahead & assume they know better
@OfficiallyKC@100ThingsUtah He's also in a very unique situation where he doesn't have a wife or kids relying on him, he has all his room & board paid for and he's bringing in a ton of money. So,money really isn't an issue. It doesn't present as a problem.
@zach_barnett O....K....so....the Big 12 commissioner and a Big 12 school president showing up at a sporting event where Big 12 school's team is playing is...nefarious? And lead to a judge granting Sorsby an injunction?
Did your mom drop you on your head EVERY day?
@otakugenarion@_Dream_Out_Loud@MelK_Ed #2? I dunno that baseball is even #3 anymore (hockey, mma, college sports, motorsports, etc.). Baseball is dying. Soccer just dies at the border before it ever gets here.
@Michellek4040@THE_REAL_CH3@Lubbockist Of course Sorsby could sue Tech. He just sued the NCAA to play. It's basically the exact same lawsuit except, this time, Sorbsy would sue for $50M (irreparable damages & lost wages at the NFL level bc his draft stock would tank if he doesn't play for a year)
@THE_REAL_CH3@Lubbockist Sorby JUST won his injunction using the VERY SAME defense (irreparable damages) he'd use against Texas Tech if they don't play him...with Tom Brady's lawyer...it's basically the same case...yeah, he's got better than a coin flip's odds of winning that lawsuit
@DFW_Cougar@flatland_sports He probably bet the under on Indiana (just like everyone bet the under on Indiana at that time) because, Indiana sucked balls at that time
@Hassel_Chris Oh, STFU, muffin. Sorsby has never and may never even take a snap under center in a game for Texas Tech. Pull your little panties outta your ass, drink a warm glass of milk and take a nap.
@SmokieJ645@coachevans1973 I'm pretty sure no one could argue he wasn't brought in to be the starter and if he continues to use Tom Brady's lawyer who already got his eligibility back when no one gave him a chance to do so...I'm pretty sure he could make a very solid case
@SmokieJ645@coachevans1973 The fact that he DID play for UC and it appears as though UC knew about (at least some of) stand the fact that he DID plat for IU makes it a very different circumstance. Why should Tech pay for this addiction he honed while at other schools?
@CaptDawg02@mstinch79 He has a $5M contract to play football for Texas Tech and was slated to be the starter. He could easily sue for breach of contract and irreparable damages. You have brain damage if you think that's not a very real possibility.
