Jeongnyeon had been through a lot many obstacles since Day 1 Taeri envisioned it as a drama.
-3 years preparation in dancing and vocal training
-Constantly nagged to add male character to its all Female centric naration in its pre-development stage
- Biggest OTT doubted it and thought it would fail
- Got baseless lawsuit from one of big national tv station (and they got their karma now).
But in the end, hard work never betrays the results. It got 16% rating, scored 2nd Baeksang Best Actress and APAN Daesang for Taeri, and brought the almost forgotten art, Women Gukgeuk, into the spotlight, creating meaningful results that had a positive impact on national cultural arts world.
