@jonharris1989 My parents, in my memory, never mentioned or did much to instill Texan independence/values on me. And yet I have them. I guess thy did come from school.

Regardless, I instill in my kids Texan independence and an actual sense of honor. Not sure I’d ever trust a teacher for that.
