@weswinder I’ve been going back and forth a lot lately on if reading the code is necessary. Not because the models are perfect, but over time I’ve moved everything i review for into code review skills

I find myself almost never having to fix anything these days when reading pull requests

@itsvlady It catches logic errors really really well as well as edge cases. I’ve been very impressed by it. I have sol 5.6 and fable 5 review all my non trivial PRs

@SakshiSugandhi Once the application (whatever it is) has substantial features, vibe coders can’t build it because the AI will make mistakes they can’t catch

I switched to codex because the usage was so much better

Hopefully that can continue but it seems like it’s can’t be the case forever

If they reduce their usage limits to fable 5 levels I’ll have to go to open source models

39% of my Fable usage gone in 52 minutes

I ONLY ran 2 code reviews on Fable 5 ($200/month plan)

I had built out each of the PR's in Codex with Sol 5.6

They were fairly big new features so it was about 150 files total changes between the 2 PRs

But wow, 39% used in 52 mins
