@riger1984 If the wings cared about the fans and win some goodwill do a jersey swap bring in a larkin for anyone currently on the team. Then take the Larkin jerseys and bbq them in playoff plaza that’s never used.
@BizNasty2point0 Hockeytown died in June 2009. Needed rebuilt in 2012. Still waiting ….. the playoff streak was a mirage to keep selling tickets. I think the coyotes were managed better since the old owner passed away. You can’t run a sports team like a pizza franchise.
@gregghenson Detroit sports radio died with “the fan.”It’s the same old story and takes day after day. It’s like push button radio. All our teams suck don’t do enough. No real pressure on any Detroit teams they just do what they want ignoring the fan bases.
@ShepMatt Comes down to quality of player Gibbs considered top 5 at his position. Larkin 32 nd. Gibbs hasn’t done the one thing that kills most Detroit fans, demanded to leave in the press.
@tk_miggy @BarbMcQuade@tigers Don’t forgot older tiger fans are still blaming the team for trading a random aa pitcher who became a hall of famer in 1987.
The A-Teams
CBS's Pat Summerall and John Madden, NBC's Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen
Every Sunday. NFL Camelot.
Not sure we realized how lucky we had it at the time
@DetroitPodcast All Detroit media plays nice for
Access. If any media points out anything negative. No access . makes gms job and coaches lives easier. You literally have to set the house on fire to get fired.
