🚨 SOMEONE JUST KILLED THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY
A guy scanned an entire house with his phone. Uploaded it.
Now anyone on Earth can walk through it in a browser tab. No app. No VR. No agent. No appointment.
Click → you’re inside. Every room. Every angle. Every shadow. Photoreal.
The numbers are insane:
- Agent fee on a $500k home: $15,000
- Cost to make this scan: ~$200
- Time to “tour” 50 houses: one evening
- File size: smaller than a TikTok
The science is wild too:
It’s called 3D Gaussian Splatting instead of polygons (how games render), it uses millions of tiny glowing “splats” of color and depth.
AI reconstructs reality from your photos. The result loads on a phone and looks like you’re THERE.
The grift opportunity is even wilder:
Freelancers are already charging $300–$800 per scan for realtors, Airbnbs, venues, car dealers, museums.
One person + one phone + one weekend = a business.

just spent 2 hours with mitch..
he has $5 million in his account..
he's never worked a day in his life..
yesterday he round tripped $60,000 in two hours and called it dinner money..
he's been banned from ??? for over a year and people are starting to forget him..
he's stuck at $2k on his anon trading wallet for a month..
and the most degen trader of the last cycle just told me what he thinks is next..
if mitch is saying that..
I talked to a vibecoder today
We met on Reddit, where he posts
He is a vibecoder using Claude and Cursor
He vibecoded 15 apps in the past 3-4 months
And he says he had exactly $0 sales for most of them
The problem isn't the functionality now
Because AI builds the apps ok
But marketing and focus
He needs focus
1 app
To check if your Google Workspace has been compromised by the same tool that compromised Vercel:
1. Go to https://t.co/TpuIOW5Fwg
- This is Google Admin Console > Security > Access and Data Control > API Controls > Manage app access > Accessed Apps
2. Filter by ID = https://t.co/uqJnCqp5Ah
- This is the ID of the compromised OAuth app
If you see an app after filtering, you have potentially been compromised
Vercel got HACKED.
And every developer should pay attention.
A threat actor claiming to be ShinyHunters says they’re selling alleged Vercel internal data for $2M, including API keys, NPM tokens, GitHub tokens, and source code.
Vercel has already confirmed unauthorized access to internal systems.
This matters because Vercel is not just "hosting."
It sits in the path of code, builds, deployments, secrets, and integrations.
And it owns Next.js.
That means this is not only a Vercel incident.
It is a potential software supply chain incident.
If you’re on Vercel:
- rotate env vars now
- reissue GitHub and CI/CD tokens
- revoke API keys
- review build logs for leaked secrets
- move to sensitive vars and short-lived credentials
Modern infra breaches are no longer infra-only.
They are production risk.
THE ANTHROPIC ENGINEER WHO WROTE "BUILDING EFFECTIVE AGENTS" EXPLAINS IT ALL IN UNDER 15 MINUTES.
More useful than months of figuring it out yourself.
Worth watching & bookmarking for the weekend.
Vercel charges $20/seat/month.
Netlify charges $20/month.
Heroku killed its free tier entirely.
And if you go over your bandwidth? Surprise bills. Sometimes thousands of dollars.
There is an open-source alternative to all three. For $0.
It is called Coolify. 53,000+ stars on GitHub.
You install it on any server you own. A $5 VPS. A Raspberry Pi. An old laptop. Anything with SSH.
Then you deploy everything:
- Static sites
- Full-stack apps
- Databases
- APIs
- 280+ one-click services (WordPress, Ghost, Plausible, n8n, Supabase, and more)
Here's the wildest part:
It does things the paid platforms charge extra for.
- Free SSL certificates, auto-renewed
- Automatic database backups to S3
- Pull request preview deployments
- Real-time server terminal in your browser
- Push-to-deploy from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Server monitoring with Discord/Telegram/email alerts
No vendor lock-in. All your configs live on your server. If you stop using Coolify, everything still runs.
The $20/month you pay Vercel? That is per seat. A 5-person team pays $100-500/month depending on usage.
With Coolify on a $5 Hetzner VPS, that same team pays $5/month. Total.
