@Dr_JhonPaul @Miss1onControl When we find an application for nuclear or an economically viable reason for antimatter. Chemical is great for atmosphere, especially due to the relatively high TWR and high atmospheric efficiency. Nuclear is mostly good for immensely high wet-mass craft in-vacuum.

@CarlyleSmith @Polymarket That’s because Falcon 9 can’t fly that often. It uses a highly refined kerosene as fuel which produces lots of soot. The soot has to be cleaned out of the engines each flight, and a second stage has to be manufactured again. Starship cancels all of Falcon’s reusability issues.

@ecko5127 @Polymarket And why is this? Full reusability lowers turnaround time significantly, so does multiple pads and vehicles. It’s definitely possible, especially with 39A and Pad 1&2 at Starbase up and running. Maybe even a pad at SLC-37 is up.

And depots are not required for initial HLS missions- only the HLS and any other female ship for refueling. And 3 years for that is very bear.
