Jesus Christ lives and loves to lift.
As a teen learning to fly a two-seat glider, I learned the crucial skill in gliding is finding rising air, otherwise known as “lift.” You cannot see it, but you can see what it does.
Just as there is rising air, there is sinking air, called “sink.” It likewise cannot be seen, but it can be felt, and I quickly learned to avoid it.
During my journey of faith, I recognised that the principles of gliding I had learned in my teens have significant similarities with spiritual principles: We must avoid sink and find lift.
Spiritual lift cannot be seen or touched, but as we learn to discern and act upon the sensitive impressions of the Holy Spirit, we can feel it—as surely as I felt the rising air lift a wing beneath me.
When we first experience lift, it is wondrous. We may feel a soul-expanding lightness of being unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.
Pay close attention to the sweet, peaceful feelings that come when you choose spiritual lift, the rising forces that bring you into the Saviour’s loving upward pull.
Likewise, pay attention to the dim and dampening feelings that lead away from the Redeemer and His infinite love.
We can learn to live in spiritual lift. And when we sink, our gentle Saviour is there to lift us up as we turn to Him.
Your Saviour is your lift. He is your ever-rising air. There is no limit to how high you can climb with Him.

"Finisher of Faith" by Kelsy and Jesse Lightweave
Do you realize that your testimony of Jesus Christ can literally change lives—your own and the lives of others?
I invite you to look each day for opportunities, as prompted by the Holy Ghost, to bear witness of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel—even if only for a minute or two.
A brief and sincere expression of faith can make a profound difference—whether at home with your family, in testimony meetings, in ministering visits and missionary lessons, on social media, or in simple, everyday interactions with others.
Imagine what could happen if all of us—millions of disciples of Jesus Christ—consistently shared our testimonies. Countless lives would be blessed, faith would grow, and the love of Christ would spread more abundantly throughout the world.

When I read the scriptures, I’m impressed with how much of the Savior’s work has to do with bringing people peacefully together. The people during His earthly ministry were divided in a dozen different ways—culturally, politically, religiously.
When you think about it, it wasn’t so different from our world today. But the Savior of the world, the Son of God, transcended worldly boundaries and divisions.
He gathered people from different walks of life and asked them to serve together in positions of trust. He ministered to the poor and rich alike. And today He continues to invite all to come unto Him.
In the Savior’s Church, it is not our political views, culture, or personal interests that unite us. It is our love for God and neighbor. It is our commitment to our covenants with Jesus Christ and to His restored gospel. We are “one in Christ” (Galatians 3:28).
Jesus Christ has the power to change us, purify us, and unite us. The closer we come to Him, the closer we will come to each other—and the closer we will come to the unity He wants for us.
I testify that the more united in Christ we are and the more we desire to build bridges instead of walls, the more our individual lives, our families, our communities, and our nations will experience God’s presence and supernal blessings.
Wherever you are, I invite you to join the Christ-centered unity we are trying to build. It would be incomplete without you.
Please, come and see, come and help, and come and belong.

Rejoice in Christ!
With joyful hearts, we invite the world to join in the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, to be held from April-October 2027. But this is not just a Salt Lake City event—this is a worldwide celebration.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a global church with a universal message of the joy the gospel in Jesus Christ brings. We invite all to rejoice with us.
Some of you may think you can never be forgiven. That is simply not true. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, as we exercise faith in Him, we can repent of our sins and begin again.
