Husband/carer, Dad of 3, NHS worker. At the age that I can remember the colours a horse carried 40 yrs ago, but can’t remember what I’ve just come upstairs for!
My lovely wife bought me this for Christmas as Lord Rosebery’s colours but I’m not convinced they really are - can any knowledgeable #HorseRacing people here help?
@thepinkchapel It’s a gift I’ll always treasure but the colours on the silk are one yellow hoop, not repeated, and the ground colour is more lilac than rose pink?
So my wife has just started using a Garmin Vivofit 4 - can anyone explain why the graph states she has walked almost 13km but the distance summary states 8.2km?

@tonyblackburn@TheBBCtv I burst out laughing when you were in the bar; and that’s the effect you have Tony; you just make people so happy. You have more positivity than a bag of anodes.
@drfc_official My 90 year old Dad remembers rushing from school to watch Donny play Barrow in the awful winter of 1947; missed the first half hour, Donny were already 3-0 up and won 8-0! Snow was so deep adults were giving piggybacks to the kids to get them over the road to Belle Vue ❄️
@JoePorter1990 Actually King Credo was owned by, and ran in the colours of, James Bolam’s wife Susan Jamieson.
Bolam’s colours were yellow & black halved as carried by Credo’s Daughter.
@eeyore94@henleysghxst I’m so sorry for your loss. Si’s tweets were always concise, interesting, worth reading and (unlike many on here) never unpleasant or confrontational. I’ll raise a glass to him this evening.
