Not to lapse into self-parody as an abundance guy but given the strong market demand for Knicks tickets perhaps they should play in a larger arena.
Giants Stadium has 77,000 seats, the technology exists to accommodate more fans.
@ClevelandCam@JeffreyBenson12 And that’s far from only one. Others are limited DK while some sites are predatory towards them. Most of these are guys I tried to explain NoVig too and they didn’t care bc they were already fed up with legal sites.
Guys like this can’t quit sucking their own dicks.
They can’t fathom a regular guy betting who just wants the bet price on the side he likes. They aren’t “exceedingly rare” as most of the people I know who bet are like this. They all get limited quick.
@ClevelandCam@JeffreyBenson12 It is very common. Agreed. I drill into the head of anyone who brings up betting to check at least 2-3 books before you bet. Takes 10 seconds. Now most are limited on at least one book. MGM limited biggest fish I know to under $50 while DK feeds him boosts with 1k limits.
Spurs fan snatched a Knicks fans chain after that brutal game 1 loss ..
“I’m leaving here with something”
Said that Spurs fan as he disappears and Cops swarm the robbery victim
In a similar vein, yesterday I noticed @DraftKings gives different odds to me (who is down on the site and can’t bet more than $2 anyway) and a friend who is able to bet as much as they want.
Yeah @StubHub you load me with a 10% up charge across the board on every seat once I sign into my StubHub account. It’s not cool. Why should anyone use your platform to buy tickets?
@ShipTheJustice@LMastro99 not all. only the ones who have listened to minimal advice. They were actually fortunate as it saves them money and now they get action with no rake. Lucky guys!
@JeffreyBenson12 Our disagreement is on the *. I think there are more ppl than you expect who, by now, understand that diff books have diff #s and it takes 5 secs to check 2-3 books they have $ on to get best. Ppl that don't know what an arb is but think they know ball. and they are limited ime
@JeffreyBenson12 I'm in a Circa legal state and no recs I speak of even know Circa has an app or is legal here. I'm sure you get a different clientele than the more popular rec books. I simply think he underestimates the amount of regular ppl who are limited b/c they make sure to take best #.
@ShipTheJustice@LMastro99 they don't even know what steam is or how to chase it. some sites will limit to pennies if you bet a few games on your lunch break and happen to get CLV at tipoff. Yes they are mostly educated people who are good at math but still lose money at this hobby of theirs.
@LMastro99 I said the percent of regular joes who just want to bet the best number on the side they picked bc of their “ball knowledge” is not exceedingly rare and the majority of these guys are limited. I’m talking about grown men who have bet for years and now have options, not 21 yr olds
@LMastro99 lol I already do that I’m not talking about me I’m talking about normal guys I know with 9 to 5s who come to me to complain about it. You must have been bad at your job if you were the one limiting all these regular joes and thinking they’re “exceedingly rare”
I need someone smarter than me to explain how regging last second is the most +EV move unless you’re break even or close to it.
Chips are easier to obtain then deeper you are and recs make up a lower % of the field the later you get.
Even knowing I am at an EV disadvantage when I register early, I will still always do it.
Being predominantly a cash game player, the early, low-ICM stages of a tournament are my time to shine. From an enjoyment standpoint, I don't play MTTs often, so when I travel to a big event like the WSOP, I want to fully enjoy playing as much as I can.
Of course, given the predatory nature of extreme late registration, I am all for a solution to reduce its impact. Thanks to @SavagePoker for pushing this issue so hard!
I’ve said my piece on Kalshi and have nothing further on the topic. We must stop the Kalshi gaslighting of retail bettors. I’m calling on all nations to come together and stop these fake marketing and PR teams from lying to the normal gambler. Now watch me hit this drive.
