Notice that Maliq interprets this like a Muslim. "Oh, it's about me getting to have sex with lots of women in heaven?"

It's about becoming a Christian, Maliq. People might have to give up their families for converting. Jesus was telling them that even if they have to give up their families (father, mother, wife, children, etc.), they're getting a much bigger family (the family of Christian believers).

(1) The age of 7 was for betrothals, not for marriage.
(2) Thomas assigned 12 as the minimum age for a girl to get married (so Muhammad and the Quran would have been condemned).
(3) He based this claim on Aristotle (not an authority for us).
(4) If Thomas had been aware of modern medical knowledge, he would have modified his position in light of this knowledge (unlike Islam, which is glued to Muhammad as the pattern of conduct for Muslims).
