@HousewivesHub No, not at all. I just don’t like her and don’t find her fun to watch. That being said, she’s not wrong about Danny. I don’t like him either and think he definitely has a drinking problem.
a lot of people, especially westerners, especially-especially americans, conflate considering others with being controlled & respond with defiance. it’s very weird behavior.
my controversial take about piracy discourse on booktwt is i think artists deserve to be paid for their work and arguing that you deserve their labor for free because you want it IS entitled.
To recap:
Trump started a war.
Couldn’t win the war.
And now Iran gets $300 billion to stop the war, while we all pay more for gas and everything else.
This is Trump’s “Art of the Deal.”
I stood at this pool, at both monuments and saw both reflections…
He’s a God damn idiot, as are the fools that support him. The “Reflection Pool” wasn’t designed by American architect Henry Bacon a hundred years ago to look like a swimming pool. It’s designed to have a darkened characteristics that has reflective qualities to reflect the monuments.
That way, the Washington Monument is reflective to you when at the Lincoln Memorial, and when at the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial is reflective to you.
It’s designed to enhance the grandeur of monuments, create an illusion of reflection, and inclusion of expansive space of unity.
He’s a tacky vulgar person that vulgarizes everything he touches. America isn’t becoming great, it’s becoming vulgar.

If anyone needs me I’ll be in the trenches defending to death that woman’s right to get the oil change without having her privacy compromised by someone who had the wherewithal to know he was overstepping but did it anyway
@RickZhampagne It’s wild behavior. You can tell she’s always had people to coddle and stand up for her (first her parents, then Kyle, Paige, etc.) She’s never had to answer for anything.
@WhiteHouse Amazing. What was the tip for flying her to Nevada to play a happy taxpayer and now Washington DC to pretend she’s an average working person? Must be pretty lucrative.
A reminder that this is how politics - and shame - is supposed to work. A politician is accused of major scandals, crimes!, and their party disowns them and they are forced out not just from a race from but from public life.
You’re not supposed to re-elect them to the presidency.
If your argument is that Eric Swalwell shouldn’t resign because plenty of Republican predators refuse to resign, you’’re putting politics over principle. The goal is to improve democracy by demanding better leaders; not lowering the standards on both sides.
It is strange seeing reporters gush about how much access Trump grants them.
You have access to lies. That is it.
Being so eager to get that access, so that you have something to post for views and clicks, makes you a tool for spreading disinformation.
That is why Trump gives you so much "access."
Yeah, this is literally it.
"Where was this Hillary in 2016?"
Same Hillary, she was just a little close to political power and it made you uncomfortable! Now that she's safely a private citizen it's okay for her to be strident.
It’s unthinkable today but it’s true that in 2016 journalists really did discuss whether Clinton was “too prepared” for debates and appearances, making her less likable to voters. The role the media played in America’s current woes cannot be understated
We are constantly told that it’s unrealistic and fiscally irresponsible to have universal child care, ensure everyone can go to the damn doctor, and fully fund our schools.
But somehow we always have money for wars that the American people don’t want!
