@united broke our $4,000 lens last night while going through our camera case they forced us to gate check. They offered a $100 travel voucher as payment. So looks like we will now be shooting all of our videos with our new travel voucher lens. SMH.

1. Just got back from a work trip in Denver. We were forced to check our Pelican case at the gate by @united, despite not wanting to due to the expensive camera gear in it. When we picked it up at the gate, the baggage guy claimed the case had been opened.

3. A $4,000 lens had been dropped and is completely damaged. I don’t know why they were going through our case, but someone dropped our lens. I talked to @united customer service. Their solution? A $100 travel voucher. I should’ve flown @Delta like I always do.
