@BradWestPoCo Doing a good job, but I wish the city had a few more tax dollars so you could stop deferring projects, like Prairie Ave MUP phase 2. The 2026 budget feedback had lots of support for more spending in the area, but was not actioned on.
All planned outage work scheduled for Sunday, February 22 will now start after the Olympic gold medal hockey game. Weโve got a nation to cheer for. Go Canada go! ๐๐ฅ
@TamaraDavidson6 I fully support the increase to BC Park fees, but hope we see the province/bcparks do more to address the lack of availability too. Park access has not kept up with demand.
Listen to @Kasparov63 speak on helping Ukraine, who are gatekeepers to Putinโs attacks on Europe.

The only reason you are still sitting here calmly is that Ukraine is shedding blood every minute. If Ukraine is forced to accept Trump's "deal", then you are next!

@TamaraDavidson6 Are there any updates about the Pinecone Burke Park Management Plan? Public engagement was 11(!) years ago, and we've heard nothing since.
@CityofPoCo Thanks for the reply and update, it's appreciated! Sad to hear this, especially since the Federal funding will expire now. I participated the 2025 budget planning feedback process. In the results there was lots of support for micro mobility, but it was not reflected in the budget
@CityofPoCo what happened with the next phase of the Prairie Avenue multi use pathway? There was $840K in federal funding for this. The city announced it would be built in 24/25, but the project has now disappeared from the city website?
@BradWestPoCo Looks great! Public comms about projects seems to have gotten worse recently. Eg: Prairie MUP phase 2 was deferred without public communication, despite having Federal $$$. City website no longer contains info about the Fremont Connector. Wish more public updates were shared.
@Una Don't have a picture, but using it for rendering large interactive organization charts. Browse the org hierarchy, with zoom and animations. Used canvas over html nodes for performance reasons.
@AWSSupport the latest Anthropic Sonnet model available through AWS Bedrock in the Canadian central region has now been retired by Anthropic. (As of July 21) When will AWS offer a newer model option to use? It's very old.
@AWSSupport it's really disappointing that none of the Bedrock serverless model options have been updated in over a year now in ca-central-1. The anthropic models offered are all depreciated. Hard to build quality software against this.
@WalmartCanada says my order was delivered "carbon neutral" the last mile. Except it came in a gas powered delivery truck. They also shipped it from Calgary even though there are two Walmart's within 10 minutes with them item in stock.
