VR as time travel? Experiencing things that we could never experience? Matt Todd from Ubisoft imagines the metaverse as a time machine for historians #NEXTBTM
Audio is essential to virtual experience, but consider those with hearing impairments and how we can augment experience to replace or adjust audio cues.
@MikeMcCready and @kentbye are giving us a great start to the day and setting the tone for rich conversation about what it the metaverse, and what does it mean to businesses, organizations, and individuals.
Today is the day. We are exploring what comes after the hype and the monetary speculation of the metaverse, and digging in to how we build it. It is not too late to join us https://t.co/khIsn1TC9o
@AntoniaRForster I agree. While these are fun motion graphics exercises, the amount of systems integration and collaboration between services providers alone would be unlikely at scale.
@MaxN0ir Check out the kits links in the browser to preview what others have made available. You can find them in the world builder, but it is easier to preview in browser. Some of the kit demo worlds are pretty cool. Remember that optimization is your friend in AltSpace
@MaxN0ir @RichardPapp10 Building from kits in AltSpace is a way to start planning worlds and storytelling. If you want to get into custom, Unity is the way to go. You don't need any coding skills to build out custom VR spaces for AltSpace using Unity.
@mfishersound Hi Matt. I have a PC based HMD and I would love to check out your project and provide feedback. Happy to help a fellow Yorkshireman (I am once removed).
