We like to think we deserve any good we receive. But in truth any good we receive is a gracious gift from God, given despite our undeserving. Praise the Lord for his mercy and grace toward sinners.
Some misinterpreted and misunderstood Jesus though he spoke the truth to them clearly and in love. We should likewise speak, though some do the same to us.
“Merry Christmas” in its truest sense is the expression of hope that another will have joy in Jesus Christ. It’s the absolute best thing you could ever hope for someone.
