Four starters finish in double figures as Clemson picks up their third Quad 1A win and fourth Quad 1 win overall in a convincing win on the road @ SMU. While SMU may fall out of the Top 40 of the NET, it does give Clemson arguably their best win away from home on the season. Not entirely their fault, just the way the schedule fell, that the only other NET Top 50 team they've played away from home all season is @ Louisville back in early January (UL won by 10).

Clemson has a really nice resume overall topped off with the fact they are the only leaguemate to be able to defeat Duke. That should matter imo.

For SMU - yet another failed, and largely non competitive, defeat vs a team within the at-large field. That's now 0/5 in such opportunities. Gonna take winning out + a big win in ACCT at minimum. But even then, that feels too late. No team has ever earned an at-large bid without a Quad 1 win. As it stands now, SMU will finish the regular season with 0.
