I’m not in the business of hunting anybody. Without the CCTV footage, I’d expect “HR”
to quietly interview them and the witnesses, establish that no headlock occurred, make a recommendation that everyone be mindful of how they behave when they are invited to a social function as representatives of the organisation.

Matthew Guy hasn’t had the best luck with social functions. Usually due to media beat-ups that weren’t his fault. He should be on high alert by now.

At your second reply, you made assumptions about my agenda and that I had anything to “give up”. At your third you made an assumption that I’m trying to convince myself of something. Both assumptions were poor, and you weren’t addressing my points, you were making it about what you’d imagined of me.

You have not offered an argument that what Matthew Guy is pictured doing is anything better than a terrible idea. But I am no more entitled to your time than you are to mine.

She followed the HR process to its end. Any harm that has arisen has come from leaks, and she is not alleged to have been the one responsible for them. Unfortunately, HR processes are there to protect the organisation. Matthew Guy has not claimed that he did not inappropriately. He has only claimed not to have done what was alleged in the leaks. Jess Wilson has not defended his behaviour, she has only claimed that he is deserves an apology.

If you think this discussion might just be a novel attempt to attract attention to that issue, you wouldn’t be too far off. Tell @elonmusk that his Burnt Hair was an amazing investment: I apply it liberally when I don’t want to be bothered by the opposite sex, or indeed anyone.

I don’t think you quite understand this yet, but I’ll give it another year. You’ve responded to one of my messages as agreeing “precisely” without understanding what you agreed to. You’ve seemed inconsistent on whether you would include a disclaimer about missing context/private information, and don’t seem to see selective inclusion of such a disclaimer as special treatment. Still, you’re much more fun than that old “Eliza” program.
