I agree it has failed to dominate the industry like Spotify and Netflix have but the very fact that it has failed to dominate means it hasn't devalued games as much as feared. Most people are still buying games and not subscribing to gamepass.

@Micxhxael @JezCorden @Toadsanime Gamepass isn't available on PS5. It is on PC but most users don't subscribe to gamepass and just use Steam. I just don't think Gamepass has actually been successful enough to have the feared devaluing effects for most games. Without gamepass Xbox might have died years ago.

@Kotaku Xbox deserves criticism for mismanagement and layoffs but there are still a ton of artists, designers and writers working on these games and at these companies and they also deserve support and enthusiasm for their work, unless you want to see Xbox shut down and everyone laid off

@Adam__Clinch For me personally 9 am sunrises sound great or at the very least preferable to 5 pm sunsets. But I definitely get the issue for kids going to school and many who need to get up at 6 or 7 am for work.

@Evan_Gagnon46 @xMBGx Basically all the sports games are on PC now and run and play great. Plus the mods are great. Being able to play Fifa and 2K at 144 fps is awesome. They are all on PC gamepass at the moment as well.

@BRAP_Podcast I think she realizes that not having exclusives makes you more money short term on those game sales, but it makes you bleed your core customer base, which leads to even more lost revenue long term from the customers that switch from Xbox to other platforms.

@Evan_Gagnon46 @xMBGx EAFC, 2K, Madden and College Football are way better on PC than console, especially if you have a nice rig. Lots of great mods for them too.

@ItsCheeseCFB It's basically impossible to reach level 100 naturally even in a 30 year dynasty winning the national title every year.

@ItsCheeseCFB I don't think you understand how the levels start to become more expensive exponentially. You can go 16-0, win the national championship every year for 10 years and you're only at level 48. Once you reach level 50 (300k xp) you are only 15% of the way to level 100 (2.5 mil xp).
