Amazon says they had their biggest thanksgiving weekend yet, meanwhile Target says their sales are unusually slow as their stock is falling. The commerce world is continuing to be dominated by mobile platforms like Amazon.

I work at a liquor store. We have customers who loiter and wait 3-4 hours every Thursday for our weekly delivery trucks. Every Thursday there’s about a dozen guys working on their laptops/making business calls AT OUR LIQUOR STORE.

I too have a pretty flexible schedule at my job. My boss is understanding that I’m taking classes and need to dedicate time to those to graduate as well. It will definitely be something to consider when looking at jobs in the future. #mavorg

After reading the Semco case I've reflected on how beneficial flexible work hours are. Even if there are scheduled hours, having flexibility to just stay home when sick could save people from financial hardship and give them more security that later benefits the company #MAVORG

The @Colts fired their coach last week. When they named a replacement, many were shocked to see it was Jeff Saturday, who was currently an analyst on TV. He had to come in mid season and lead a group of guys, and they happened to win this week. #MavOrg

Recently in a different class I got to listen to the CHRO from UNMC. He discussed the problems facing UNMC in terms of culture and the people working there. Culture is a concept I see in every business course I take here at UNO.

I chose an article about Twitter as it feels very timely in the business world. Elon Musk finalized his purchase of Twitter and immediately went to work making changes. From layoffs to policies, observing the changes has been interesting.

#mavorg Honestly, congratulations for working for a caring company. I look forward to working for a company like this. Meanwhile at my job my boss calls me in on my one day off per week which has me working 7 out of 7 days occasionally, on top of my 15 credit hours of school.
