I couldn't agree more with my counterpart from Saskatchewan, Chris Beaudry, Minister of Energy and Resources.
If we want to be an energy superpower we must start acting like it. We have the resources to be THE superpower. There is no reason Alberta and Canada should be playing from behind ever again if we take advantage of the opportunity we have before us.

The race is over. The members have spoken. And I feel good.
Congratulations to @KerryLynneFindl on her win and to my fellow contestants @iainblackbc, @yuri_fulmer and @PeterMilobar for their strong campaigns.
Thank you to my incredible team who believed in me, and to everyone who participated in this process.
Now, it’s time to beat the NDP so we can restore hope and prosperity to the province we love.
NEW: Despite weeks of bad headlines over the private jet scandal, a new Leger poll shows @fordnation's PCs leading at 39% to the Liberals' 34% and NDP's 17%, suggesting Ford would still win a majority if an election were held today, writes @brianlilley — Toronto Sun
Honoured to have the endorsement of @Stockwell_Day.
A principled conservative leader and former Minister of Public Safety of Canada who knows what it takes to bring people together and win.
Proud to have his support.
BREAKING: Saskatchewan MLA @BettyNippi86579 has left the NDP caucus to sit as an Independent MLA for Saskatoon Centre, citing a lack of "support or respect" under @CarlaBeckSK's leadership.
Today, we officially named the Hall of Valour at Saskatchewan’s Legislative Building—a place dedicated to honouring all who have served our nation in uniform.
The Hall’s origins are rooted in the extraordinary bravery of 15 Saskatchewan recipients of the Victoria Cross - the highest symbol of courage, sacrifice, and devotion to Canada and its people.
Their actions represent the very best of military service and form the foundation of this space.
The Hall of Valour stands as a tribute to every Saskatchewan resident who has served, in times of war and in times of peace.
Our province will always honour their service, their valour, and their commitment to keeping Canada strong and free.
Once again, Saskatchewan is a leader in Canada.
Glad to see Alberta joining Saskatchewan in staying on the same time as Saskatchewan year round.

From one Chris (who went to the Masters) to another Chris (who I hope did too and that this isn't stolen valour), you should probably find a new PR firm to hire that's smart enough to tell you not to wear a Masters quarter-zip to a press conference crying foul over a government trying to reign in trustee expenses.
BREAKING: Mark Werner stepping down - meaning dumped as campaign manager of the Peter Milobar campaign after recent news of BC United dirty tricks campaign. It was the right thing to do. Good for the campaign. Pity they missed a sunny Friday to do it like I had suggested. #bcpoli
There’s a lot of chatter about debate participation. A few things:
1. I’m excited to take part in any & all debates sanctioned by the Conservative Party of BC including the two that are currently scheduled for the end of April.
2. The Juno debate is unsanctioned. Its timing before the membership cut-off date is taking time away from growing the party through membership sign-ups. And it involves candidate(s) who may not even be on the final ballot (major payments are due after the debate date).
3. When we originally agreed to participate, it was due to a misleading communication by a Juno representative (sent on March 12) that *all* other candidates had been confirmed to participate. To be clear: a message was sent to me, directly, saying that “everyone else is confirmed.”
This was untrue.
4. When it emerged that one main candidate had, in fact, *not* agreed to participate, we encouraged Juno to move the debate until after the membership cut-off so as not to be at a disadvantage (taking time to prepare for the debate while a competitor was signing up members).
5. The same Juno representative told us they would consider this. When they came back and said they wouldn’t reschedule, we declined to participate for all of the above reasons - but reiterated that I am (and remain!) happy to participate at a later date.
For now, I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been doing.
Meeting British Columbians all over this province. Hearing their concerns & taking their questions. Getting them excited about change & signing them up. Raising funds. Participating in the two scheduled, sanctioned debates. And - most of all - building a party and a movement that will defeat the NDP.
