One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” That sounds beautiful until life stops making sense. It’s easy to trust God when everything is going well, but harder when doors close, plans change, prayers seem delayed, or life takes an unexpected turn. That’s exactly when this scripture matters most. It doesn’t say trust God when you understand everything. It says trust Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. There will be seasons where you don’t have all the answers and moments where God’s plan looks different than the one you had in mind. God has never asked us to understand everything, He’s asked us to trust Him. Every time I look back over my life, I see moments where God was guiding me even when I couldn’t see it. So if you’re facing uncertainty today, remember: God is already ahead of you, in the situation you’re worried about, and still making a way, even if you can’t see it yet.
My homegirl came to my house, laid in the bed with me, and watched TV when I was depressed. We didn’t even talk. She was just THERE. That’s real love. That’s real friendship. Sometimes presence is more powerful than words.
I'm usually the person that tries to fix bonds and friendships but lately I’ve been letting people stand on how they feel. We ain't never gotta talk again. That's perfectly fine by me.
