In 1836 Hedge said to Emerson we need a club for disaffected young clergy. The were called transcendentalists. I like religious socialism and US soccer
I’d like to thank Merrick Garland. He had 4 years with this information and did absolutely nothing with it. Where would we be without his commitment intent to shirking his duty? Probably a better world! But hey, not appearing partisan is far more important than enforcing the law
To recap:
The people who spent years calling drag queens and librarians “groomers” and complaining about the “deep state,” are now protecting the group of mega-wealthy pedophiles and sex traffickers running our country.
Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.
A Gen Z joined the team.
Week one.
During onboarding, the manager said,
“We sometimes stay late during peak periods.”
Gen Z nodded.
Then asked,
“Is that paid… or just expected?”
The room went quiet.
- No attitude.
- No rebellion.
- Just a question.
Later that day, HR mentioned “growth opportunities.”
Gen Z replied,
“Does growth include raises, or just more responsibility?”
Again, silence.
- No laziness.
- No entitlement.
- Just clarity.
That’s when the team realized something.
When people say
“Gen Z is lazy,”
what they really mean is:
Gen Z watched old generation
- skip meals,
- miss birthdays,
- work weekends,
- and burn out
only to be told
“budgets are tight”
and “be grateful you have a job.”
So Gen Z chose differently.
- They don’t romanticize overwork.
- They don’t confuse suffering with ambition.
- They don’t trade health for praise.
They still work hard.
They just refuse to work for nothing.
It’s not laziness.
It’s pattern recognition.
And honestly,
after everything old generation went through…
Can you really blame them?
and there we have it, it's not that the officer's life was in danger, it's that she disrespected him. for fascists, the punishment for disrespect is death

All that right-wing talk since the 1990s about the danger of a violent and unaccountable federal government, whose agents would one day gun Americans down in the streets, I foolishly thought that was a warning, but it turns out it was more of a promise they were making
The last worker in the US who knew how to make Tubas is having his union job shipped to China by hedge fund billionaire and Trump advisor John Paulson who made the TV rounds to defend tariffs as a way to bring jobs back to US
y'all. I'm trying to become a licensed electrician. as of today, I've got 2 years of solar + 3 years of electrical specific experience. I'm 100% eligible for the residential test, just need to pick a date (and study!), and need to send in my paperwork for the journeyman test.
