johnny said one of the questions he gets quite often, especially from international fans in america and europe, is about what bands he used to listen to growing up. he thinks people are curious about the music he listened to during that middle school phase when you start getting a little darker, become more immersed in your own emotions and feelings, and get into that whole angsty teenage era wwkwkwk he said thinking about those bands again reminded him of that time. back then, he listened to paramore and panic at the disco, but when he entered high school, he started thinking those werent cool anymore and that this was real cool music, so he got into the black keys, daft punk, and coldplay. he asked if people knew those bands, then added that he never listened to fall out boy, but as a fun fact, someone from fall out boy apparently went to the same middle school as him. he thinks it was one of the guitarists, but couldn't remember exactly who wkwkwk 😭
