@smemolo22 @JonahRyyyan @vancleavej1 @RealMartyT7 @Viewer100987 So is this not "an activity intended to honor a person interred"?
Not that there seems to be a ton of solemnity or honoring here.
@JonahRyyyan @vancleavej1 @smemolo22@RealMartyT7 @Viewer100987 It was a wreath laying ceremony, as reported by all major news outlets, as well as the army.
Wreath laying ceremonies are explicitly included in the 'Memorial service or ceremony' definition in the above legal code.
@UrWerewolfDaddy @ryan_m910@Feiryred@HinojosPat@TheMindBrew@thebleucheese @clairezagorski I mean, with natural selection, babies requiring a c-section would just die, not surviving to pass on their genetic material. C-sections beget more c-sections.
This isn't a bad thing, medical science is great, and we're influencing our own evolution, which is cool!
@IsaakFlygare@LitenAlskare@KingRavana7@2ndofhername This literally just happened, look at the UK. There were a ton of constituencies where Labour won, but Tory+Reform got a higher percentage. When you have two ideological parties splitting the vote, the opposite ideology tends to win.
This is how FPTP works.
@DuskQuill_Team@tatermaster65@TidyWire This is 100% not true now. The president appoints federal judges, who now have veto power over all federal regulations with the death of Chevron deference.
Lifetime appointments for people whose ideology is no progress, not ever.
@Ragooreturns@LilithLovett Did you actually read the law in question?
The one that only bans CT by coercion, deception, or threats?
Why have you spent the past day arguing for something that isn't even being discussed ("consensual CT")?
@SergeiAlderman@Hbomberguy@ChrisBrosnahan It shouldn't be boggling, the reason is very obvious: There are people who benefit from it being taken negatively, and they are the ones delivering the info.
Most men would never hear of 'toxic masculinity' if they didn't have influencers telling them "they think you're toxic".
@ZillvaPlayZ@BombaSalami Absolutely. And worse, the Tate-like influencers are then giving them awful advice, which is just going to make more women despise them, which is just going to harden their position, by design.
This is not organic, it is deliberate and cultivated.
@ZillvaPlayZ@BombaSalami Going to beat a dead horse here, but I would bet you money that about 90% of those men wouldn't even be aware of those radfem spaces or what they said if you didn't have far right influences specifically seeking it out and deliberately showing it to them.
@musicpsych@BombaSalami@biggestjoel People can feel attacked for all sorts of reasons.
Where there is a group intentionally priming people to feel attacked, it becomes even more likely.
@musicpsych@BombaSalami@biggestjoel The problem is, the group validating their opinion is specifically the one telling them they're being attacked.
You have people deliberately misconstruing concepts like toxic masculinity specifically to make people feel attacked, before giving them the recruitment line.
