I think this has been the most annoying cold I've had in a long long time, it just keeps coming back for round 2 oops I mean round 3 oops I mean round 4 oops I
@TCONicon Yeah, that's just the generic visemes in that video! Latency concerns are definitely real, I also advise clients to test and account for delays; the extra processing that the mic tracking does ends up delaying the mouth movements further, so best results need a bit of extra work
@TCONicon Also, this is what my mic tracking sort of looks like in action! It isn't fully tuned for my new model yet (still a wip) but just as an example of what it sort of looks like
@TCONicon But that's also part of why I like using volume to lerp between the face tracking and mic tracking, it (at least in theory) causes a natural quick-but-gradual transition between the two tracking types
@TCONicon If there's audio from the mic and it's not the "silent" viseme, the strength of the camera tracking is reduced based on the volume (and the viseme part of the formula is increased). So camera and mic tracking don't overlap, but replace each other when needed
@TCONicon Oh, and I'm not sure if the default viseme settings provided by VBridger have changed, but the way I switch between camera-based mouth tracking and viseme-based mouth tracking is by using the "volume" and "viseme_SIL" inputs as a way to detect speech
