Have you ever struggled with time zones in Python? Are you curious how the exact location of an old stone obelisk in London affects the value your program evaluates to? Then this post is for you! https://t.co/UV1U0dS4f1
Get ready for another fun leap day full of software glitches! As done in past years, I'm live-blogging them here. We've got one already! https://t.co/nI6lRt262P

OK, we've got a tricky UX problem in datetime.isoformat and I could use typical users' intuitive thoughts here. If you are a Python programmer, can you take this short survey? Please don't do any research before filling it out!

@singlepayertom I'm also an expert: When the US took possession of "Russian America" (your dear home state of Alaska) in 1867, it switched from Julian calendar, under Russian authority, to the superior modern Gregorian calendar. Here's good ol Charles Sumner on that transition:
RT if you maintain both Java code and Python code and love the java.time library more than life itself - the distinct types defined for distinct concepts, the careful naming conventions, the immutability, the way it walks, and those eyes
