For all those with #ImposterSyndrome, here's my dark secret origin story:
Although I had a computer at 13, I didn't have Internet. So my first foray onto the Internet was at 17 at UBC.
I was scared to send email because I couldn't figure out how much it would cost per stamp.
"FIFA said water prices will not be higher than what the venues generally charge."
That doesn't help their case as much as they think it does.
And so much for environmentalism eh? It died at the hands of money, as it always does.
Secure messaging service Signal, which uses end-to-end encryption, is warning it would withdraw from Canada if asked to compromise its users’ privacy under proposed legislation that critics claim would expand state-backed surveillance.

@JakeKing No clue. But I'd hope so. Managing 100s of SSO roles in an org can be brutal.
At $JOB, I have a workflow so that whenever the terraform changes and then applies, GHA runs setlist to gen the newest config, then MDM pushes it to all devices. Then everyone has the same config.
The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them.
While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7.
Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for.
We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel.
We will continue to fight for safety in our streets.
We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers.
I will continue to lead that fight every day and in every way in Parliament, across the country and in the next election, when Canadians will reclaim the country we know and love.
@jonkay@UBC The fact that Indigenous is basically listed under "Other" but they had enough space to separate the Asian nationalities, is *chef's kiss*.
VANCOUVER LAND GRAB:
Global News obtained a copy of this Musqueam “Rights Recognition Agreement" and published via Scribd.
Shortly after, it was removed from the document subscription services site.
I have screen shots in the thread below.
David Eby: "Alberta separatists are traitors"
1 month later, David Eby:
"I forgot to mention that I was present at the signing of an aboriginal agreement which may affect the entire city of Vancouver.
... but I dont remember what was in the document
and you can't see it"
The government of Canada AGREEMENT
with the MUSQUEAM tribe
that was DUMPED on a Friday afternoon
and which gives the tribe "property rights" to MOST of VANCOUVER
.....was not made public. You cant see it.
Think about that.
Enough is enough. What is happening in our schools is not “inclusion.” It is ideological capture. It is the state telling parents to step aside while activists experiment on their children’s moral foundation.
Let me say this as plainly as possible: no government, no school board, no tribunal has the authority to override parents when it comes to the moral formation of their children. None.
SOGI was sold as an anti-bullying tool. That was the sales pitch. But what it has become is something very different, it has become a vehicle for embedding a highly contested worldview about sex and identity directly into classrooms, while silencing anyone who questions it.
And now we are told that simply affirming biological reality can be framed as “harm.” That dissent is “discrimination.” That disagreement is “hate.” When free speech is redefined so narrowly that only one viewpoint is considered acceptable, you no longer have inclusion, this has become about ideological enforcement. If trustees, parents, or citizens risk financial ruin for speaking against government-backed social theory, then this isn’t about protecting children. It’s about protecting power.
Public institutions do not get to take sides in cultural revolutions. Schools are not the property of activist movements. They belong to families and taxpayers. Their job is to teach math, science, history, not to advance a doctrine about gender identity that many parents fundamentally reject.
And yes, parents must have absolute, non-negotiable opt-out rights. Not symbolic opt-outs. Not bureaucratic mazes. Real consent. Real authority. If a school is teaching material that touches on sexuality, gender identity, or deeply contested beliefs about human nature, parents decide. Not the state.
What we are seeing is a creeping normalization of the idea that government knows best and families should comply. I reject that outright.
This is a fight about freedom. It is a fight about who governs, citizens or bureaucrats. Parents or activists. Reality or ideology.
And I will not back down.

"I am aware that the practice of medicine is not an exact science"
This was in a medical waiver I saw. Medicine is science
But I guess, ad absurdism, nothing is truly an exact science.
