@dcinvestor average person doesn't care for art in general. at art basel I asked a lot of trad art people this question and mostly received negative responses. we may be a select crowd for now.
@osf_rekt that's how industry reports success. which can be in conflict with the artist's view. i think back to Metallica's answer about success. something like "we don't measure by records sold, but by excitement of the crowd."
@bernhard_eth@eth_porsche imagine how the web2 thread reads--probably not encouraging. next time a brand tries to use web3 tech, maybe we don't act entitled. maybe the bigwigs stop gatekeeping with "you should have came to me first." maybe we let people experiment with the tech and screw up. maybe.
@0xCygaar What's the scam here? All I see is someone doing a lot of work to trick UIs into reporting a false NFT transfer. What second part am I missing?
