Today my body building coach informed me that she’s prepping me to compete in women’s figure. I can’t tell you how much of a big deal it is that she sees such a phenomenal body type in me 😭🤍

@pablo150898 I was like that too. It starts out very expensive !! But once you find your foods that offer the nutritional value you need that aren’t expensive like rice, chicken and frozen veg, it evens itself out of that makes sense
I like to have 5 meals per day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, pre workout meal (carb heavy, very low fat and protein), and post workout meal (protein shake - usually 30g of protein).
So yeah, protein products don’t solely grow your muscles…a balanced diet & training does 💪🏼🤍
After resistance training, your muscles are in a breakdown state. Protein triggers Muscle Protein Synthesis (the repair and rebuilding process of muscles AKA BIG STRONK MUSCLES)
So when planning your meals, EAT CARBS before working out. HAVE PROTEIN after working out.
