I remember when this concept came up a few years ago by a P4 AD. The reality is they want to separate and I don’t fully disagree with them because out of the 138 FBS institutions, not everyone is as committed to competing. What I want is a defined path forward to allow those that do want to compete at the highest level to have a shot. They have never defined how we could have access to a P4 conference. It seems it is subjective and driven by overall media value when realignment happens. It always comes back to the dollars and cents. I won’t speak to the conversations I have had but understand it is definitely a topic. I don’t like speaking for everyone else. I am not in favor of a G6 playoff unless there is some type of promotion relegation model or at minimum, a defined path for us to compete in the CFP. The system is set up for legacy institutions and those that were born into it. For those on the outside, looking in, we all just want a shot or a path to be included. We are fortunate that we are one of the top G6 institutions and that list isn’t big…that’s why investment, support, attendance, etc matters for us and why it is so important to have alignment with institution, board and state. We represent something bigger than ourselves… A brand is very difficult to build and very easy to lose. The economic impact that comes with it could be lost and that’s worth fighting for due to those we serve.

ASAP. Would love to put “shovel in ground” next spring. That’s the goal. We need to get to 40k. Yes both east and west. 50k is a definitely a possibility…our community won’t stop growing. Idaho (Treasure Valley) is no longer a secret. You won’t leave a community between Ontario and Boise. Reminds me of Dallas to San Antonio on I35. Huge opportunity.

I would like to thank Boise State University for the opportunity to take an official visit and get to know the program.

After a lot of conversations with my family, I am excited to announce that I have committed to Boise State!

From the moment I stepped on campus, Boise felt like home. The relationships I’ve built with the coaches and the conversations I had with the players made this decision even easier and confirmed that this is where I want to be.

I want to thank my family, my coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported me along the way. Thank you for the faith you’ve put in me and for helping me become the person and athlete I am today, both on and off the football field.

I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
