@MostlyWNBA When your coach won’t use a single challenge to protect you from some horrific calls, you have to question them sometimes. It’s that simple. 2 calls against CC likely would have been overturned had her coach used her challenge but she is to incompetent.

@donth8dakid @shahartley No one is blaming Clark or Raven. You’re clueless. Teams are choosing Raven, but they are choosing her on the cross match in the paint on the switches. Choosing CC on cross-matches to drive. Both getting exposed because of the poor defensive scheme. It’s that simple.

@donth8dakid @shahartley Ok, you didn’t watch the game clearly. It was identical issues for both of them. Raven is suppose to be a defensive specialist, capable of defending one on one, when isolated, she fouled out in 10 minutes of game time. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.

@donth8dakid @shahartley Did you watch Raven get fouled out as well when she got ISO’d? If you watched, Indiana ran a different defensive scheme against Portland in the last game. They were helping far more, now everyone is switching and staying home on the wing. An emphasis White talked about in PR.

@donth8dakid @shahartley You mean the player that fouled out when she was ISO’d as well? It’s the defensive scheme. There is zero help defense or defensively rotations. The Fever switch the most of any team in the league, why? It doesn’t work, the players aren’t interchangeable enough for that.

@Jay_3shifty @ali284400 CC literally is willing to run out of the way of a player on defense to avoid fouls, yet when the player slams into her out of control she still gets a blocking foul. She really isn’t allowed to play defense the same way she is guarded, there isn’t much she can do about that.

@StavrosForever @cckent22 @WNBA It is 100% a coaching issue. Stop putting her on ball. Teams are ISO’ing and going right at her. Even with her arms straight up she’s gonna get a blocking foul. CC has to learn to sit down and defend, don’t give up ground back pedaling.

@jmeferrell @kenswift It’s an off season on her 3 point shot. It is MIA currently at 32%. She will get that up. CC’s is improving as well after an abysmal start shooting wise. Once they are both clicking, the offense will be even more dangerous.

@webcentrick It’s already on pause. Hasn’t given us a new album since 2022. She did open for G’nR on their stadium tour select nights in 2023 and did some encores with them including Paradise City. Ready for new music asap though.

For the presumed starting 1-3 is not gonna cut it in the B1G. Journey likely to play some 3/4 but she’s only 5’10. Gonna need to size up.

I said Megan’s development was stunted at Iowa because they forced her to stay inside and not dribble. Now she plays primarily on the perimeter as a stretch 4.

@KinnickNorth23 Sounds like 3 based on Jeff’s report. I’m guessing TM, ER and LH. But I could be wrong. Leaving only Stremlow, Chit Chat, Ava, and Journey. Which basically becomes a complete rebuild and throws the “culture” narrative out the window.
