ESPN sources: Bears Pro Bowl center Drew Dalman has informed the team that he is retiring from the NFL at age 27. Dalman left Stanford in 2021, and after four seasons in Atlanta and one in Chicago, he has made the sudden and surprising decision to retire.
Hell of a game last night. Didn’t end the way we wanted but that was the best and most entertaining Bears season I’ve seen in my lifetime. We’ll be back. #beardown
Caleb Williams gave the city of Chicago everything this season. He showed he's the guy.
For the next 15-20 years the Bears will always have a chance. Every franchise wants that.
Chicago finally has it.
Caleb Williams 2025 stats:
- 3,942 Passing Yards (Franchise Record)
- 4,330 Total Yards (Franchise Record)
- 31 Total TDs (Franchise Record)
- 7 INTs
- 6 Fourth Quarter Comeback Wins
- 11-6 Record
- NFC North Champions (#2 seed)
Best QB season in franchise history. 🐻⬇️
@RayRayP262 On top of literally backpedaling, and would’ve had to throw all the way across his body, he had defenders in his face sprinting towards him. That throw is nowhere near the one Cam Ward threw
This is starting to piss me off. People saying “DJ was wide open!” Are slow and at the bottom of the food chain. Nobody that has ever played the sport would’ve made that throw. Not even Batman making that throw for fucks sake
Yikes: Bears WR DJ Moore non-stop jumping on the opposite side of the field WIDE OPEN on the game losing play.
Caleb Williams completely missed him, and the game was lost as a result.
😭😭😭
@RayRayP262 That’s not even remotely close to the situation Caleb was in. Caleb was moving backwards and essentially would’ve had to throw the complete opposite direction because DJ wasn’t nearly as far down field. Cam Ward was moving forward and was able to throw it farther down the field
