Seen nothing that supports the plans for reopening schools during a rising pandemic as being trauma informed. When's that coming? I'll wait. #TeacherSafetyIsEssential

It's delusional to think kids will actively be listening and learning and not thinking about how bizarre it is to be in a classroom with ZERO ability to move freely. #TeacherSafetyIsEssential #14DaysNoNewCases

Everyone keeps saying "what about the kids?" Ok. Let's go there. Kids know the effects of COVID are potentially life threatening. Sending them to school says you are willing to risk their lives. Good job anticipating that psychological impact! @OregonGovBrown @safeschools1st

[Nancy @jeeves_nancy]

Mandated face coverings for 5 and up. What happens if people don't comply? It's not a trick question. People will get sick and people will die. Online only until it's safe for everyone. @OregonGovBrown @ORDeptEd @safeschools1st

“....masks,distancing,temperature checks, crowded busing, crowded hallways,sports,air-conditioning, lunchrooms, restrooms, janitorial staff. Most schools already struggle from a lack of resources;how could they possibly afford the mountain of safety measures that need to be in place?”
