Barrets' first ever 8th grade community building day was a success! Not only did we get donuts and pizza but we got to learn about our strengths and areas we can work on. We worked with peers who shared the same strengths as us and peers who shared different strengths.
Ross has helped improve the climate at @ShawneeMS1 by setting up a special room where students can chill out, complete with a mindfulness corner, comfy chairs, and more! Students look up to her, her nominator said.

@AmandaM09376357 had a great idea to have students learn about character strengths. By the end of this lesson all students could state and explain there top 3 strengths. This year's focus is to spend more time on things we're good at and building on that! Loved this lesson!
