I agree but we must face the fact that that's the world we live in. If you want a player, you have to oay them. There is no wayva school can put out the additional millions if dollars to do that unless the supporters foot the bill. Don't pay, and you can't be competitive
“I’m blaming the president for the United States of America If the New York Knicks lose this tonight. It is selfish…. This is not the place for the president to be coming. He knows it. He just doesn’t care.”
— @stephenasmith on Donald Trump
It amazes me the meltdown of Florida State softball fans because the reigning player of the year is entering the portal. They are unmercifully attacking the school administration.
Excuse me, but you should look in the mirror. The school gets NIL funds from supporters.
Losing the best softball player in the country is really unacceptable. FSU’s athletic department continues to fall short and get left behind.
#NobodyFocused
Absolutely burn everything to the ground. Complete failure by this athletic department to not keep one of the greatest athletes in Florida State history.
“I don’t have forgiveness for any of the Trumpers. YOU VOTED FOR THIS.” 🎤⤵️ Singer Maren Morris delivered a blistering take down of Donald Trump and his supporters in a profanity-laced social media rant — saying she has "no forgiveness" for anyone who voted for him.
For years, liberal country music singers stayed quiet for fear their fans and the industry would turn on them if they spoke their mind.
No more!
Go Maren!
Hope she sucks wherever she goes. All college sports is now is a transaction, so college athletes should be treated like a transaction. No personal attachment to a single FSU athlete, just the logo on their uniform.
Can you name bands/artists (living or not) where the lead singer is/was also the lead guitarist?
My list of 13:
- Pink Floyd
- Dire Straits
- CCR
- ZZ Top
- The Outlaws
- Muse
- Prince
- Rory Gallagher
- Gary Moore
- Stevie Ray Vaughn
- Glen Campbell
- Jeff Buckley
- Keith Urban
I will never understand how a college athlete can devote 3 or more years to a program, put in time, effort, energy, make memories and build relationships, all the things, just to leave their last year . I just don’t understand what we’ve allowed college athletics to become.
A big fuck you to the coach who developed you. Another big fuck you to the fanbase who supported you for 3 years. I guess money is more important than the relationships you build along the way.
