Became a father on Father’s Day. This year will be tough to top.
God is great, dads are legends, moms are unbelievable, and I am an absolute puddle. #GirlDad

🚨BREAKING🚨 2028 4-star RB Jerome Larue has decommitted from Maryland, @adamgorney reports.
"I just spoke to my agents, and since I’m listed as a 4-star and the reason we committed is now out the door, we are going to decommit from Maryland."

.@TigerLacrosse coach Matt Madalon has informed his team that he is no longer a candidate for the SMU head coaching position and has recommitted to Princeton for the 2027 season and beyond, multiple sources tell @Inside_Lacrosse.
Back on the fields tomorrow with @CoachCampanile for the first of several weeks in a row of fall event coverage for @Prep_Lacrosse.
First up: the top 2030s at @Ml8Events’ The Spotlight in DE
Sunday: @Inside_Lacrosse ID Experience to see 28s and 29s (and the good people of IL)
Holy pet peeve. I’ll gladly join you on this crusade and have complained about it to anybody who listens.
If someone told me that more than 30% of the 2028 recruits who posted their commitments this fall incorrectly used 28’ instead of ’28, I’d believe it.
@ScootBarley@BajaLoverrGoat@OldTakesExposed I don’t know why I have to remind you of this, but you seem hellbent on circling back —I quickly admitted my poor choice of words at the time and clarified it all.
The point remains: anonymity allows people to avoid accountability when tweeting out news, does it not?
Here’s the part that probably wasn’t conveyed properly on my end:
Tons of people expect SMU to field a DI program in the next few years — and @On3 already reported on it in May, quoting the AD hinting at it. This isn’t new.
However, not taking a self-described parody account seriously when it comes to news (or anything) is usually a good general rule to follow on this hellscape of an app. If someone isn’t willing to put their real name on news, it’s not actual news.
Sources: The College Football Playoff is nearing a deal to expand to 24 teams, per sources. The new format will start in 2027 and is expected to come together in the near future, pending final approvals.
Exciting day for lacrosse for a multitude of reasons. 🐎
It’s hard to see how this doesn’t bring us closer to NCAA Tournament expansion. That’s the potential trickle-down effect and a massive step in the right direction.
Princeton middie Tucker Wade has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal as a grad student, I'm told.
The first-team All-American's absence was conspicuous when the Portal opened 15 days ago. I do not think the timing is coincidental.
SMU wasn't making a secret of their interest in doing this, but good to see it out in the open. The reported $20 million raise is interesting. In most past situations where P4 schools have looked into adding they wanted an amount that would fully endow the program, which is at least twice that.
@ScootBarley Take your victory lap if you need to — no one was saying you were wrong or off! You’re just an anonymous parody account who took ‘parody’ out of your bio when you first tweeted about lacrosse.
@ScootBarley It's not about being right; it's about you not being a real person. A lot of people expect SMU to start a Division I program in the next few years, based on what was put out there in May and what was said by Damon Evans.
