@paxtannies2026 Let's call out all of these instances and let's not pretend kfans are the only ones with the "OUR shows should have local fans bc it's OUR shows". That's why I said SADLY concert nationalism is very common. Emphasis on sadly.
@paxtannies2026 I only said fans from other countries have tweeted about not wanting people from other countries and even if they call it a joke I dont think it's that funny. Didn't the original tweet start as "if european armys said etc"?
THEY CALLED MY GOAT WASHED. THEY SAID HE NEEDED TO RETIRE. THEY SAID HE CAN ONLY WIN IN THE FASTEST CAR. WHAT NOW? LEWIS HAMILTON, 106 TIME GRAND PRIX WINNER, 7 TIME BARCELONA GP WINNER AND THE LAST FERRARI WINNER!!!!
@j_kaxv@AngryArmy81 There's nothing funny about a "close the borders" sentence. Maybe you guys should start understanding that and call out the people that continue to "joke" like that.
@AngryArmy81 Tbh maybe we should start calling out that attitude because it does have xenophobic aspects. It’s selfish and lacks empathy. People travel for concerts for many artists and it’s just part of globalization.
@AngryArmy81 European ARMYs have said. Both in 2019 and now. Specifically I've seen French ARMYs say "close the borders" so other countries dont come to our shows. I'm not saying it as an excuse to korean fans, I'm only saying that concert nationalism SADLY happens everywhere.
I only mean that's it's sadly a universal thing that I've seen many say. I'm sure most countries have fans with this type of mentality. It shows when it comes to humans and fandoms there are always people that are not that nice in them.
I've seen many fans whose countries get shows say "close the borders so that foreign fans don't come to OUR shows". French fans, Spanish speaking countries fans, Korean fans.. And I think people who show concert nationalism probably have other ugly traits too.. sigh
I mean I've seen bighit's hires so I understand why he's taking matters into his own hands lol
example1: that interpreter at the NY swimside event.. lol
mnijungkook on instagram:
“i’m looking for someone who can take insanely good videos and photos [of me]. i’ll somehow figure out the equipment myself..! please somehow reach out to me! lol”
“looking for someone to film for me, seriously. and if you’re good at editing too? let’s go on tour together”
Trusting the industry to weed out fraudulent streaming themselves is a joke. All they’ll do is pretend the only ones doing bot streams are non-institutional offenders and artists they can get away with scapegoating. Platforms & labels should be audited and regulated, full stop.
