This is genuinely incredible and says SO SO MUCH about the perception of China in the West.
This is the #1 news show in France, and the host - David Pujadas - asks the pundits around the table (a sample of the top media figures in France) if they can name 3 living Chinese people.
That's it: they just need to say the names of 3 living Chinese people, anyone. This should be extremely easy.
Yet not of a single one of them can name a single Chinese beyond Xi Jinping. They do not know a single living Chinese person beyond the president.
That's the level of ignorance of China we're dealing with in the West today, in 2026.

This Odyssey thing has pissed me off so much. And I'm not even Greek.
We've seen this same thing play out so many times over the years - remember everyone insisting Cleopatra was black, or that Vikings had a "diverse" society? I'm sick to death of leftists trying so hard to destroy European cultures.
White populations are entitled to our own unique stories, histories, mythologies that DO NOT INCLUDE non-whites.
And when you make this point and say, "hey, it's shitty to erase white people from their own history", leftists will scream at you that mythology isn't even real, so why do we care?
Well, you guys race-swap our historical figures, too - like casting Anne Boleyn as a black woman, trying to insist Queen Charlotte was black, adding black people to Viking stories, telling us constantly how multicultural ancient Rome and Greece were.
But, the mythology thing, to me, is the worst of all.
Because it means you think you're entitled to fuck with the fabric of European cultures. These narratives often tell a people who they are, where they came from, and what they value.
Some of these mythologies are so impactful and enduring that they have shaped Western art, literature, philosophy, law, identity.
And it's why they continue to be useful today in helping to explain who our ancestors were and what mattered to them.
You don't just get to erase that bc you have diversity quotas????
It is disgusting that dismantling the cultural heritage of white people is so socially accepted.
But, it has gone far enough. And it needs to stop.

IOC mourns the death of IOC Honorary Member Sir Craig Reedie
Sir Craig held a number of leadership positions at the highest levels of international sport, where he helped shape policy, expand global participation and confront some of the most difficult challenges facing the sports world. Among others, he was IOC Vice-President, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), President of the International Badminton Federation (IBF) – today known as the Badminton World Federation (BWF) – and Chair of the British Olympic Association (BOA).
IOC President Kirsty Coventry said: “Sir Craig dedicated his whole life to the service of sport and the Olympic Movement. He was a steadfast guardian of integrity, guiding the global sporting community through some of its most challenging moments with dignity and resolve. His contribution to the Olympic Games, to clean sport and to the development of athletes worldwide will endure for generations to come.”

📌 Statement by IOC President Kirsty Coventry following her meeting with Ukrainian skeleton pilot Vladyslav Heraskevych
“I felt that it was really important to come and talk to him face to face.
Athletes asked us to keep certain areas – the field of play, the podium and the Olympic Village – safe zones. How could we keep them safe in order to not be asked to use the field of play or the podium for something that they didn’t agree with?
No one – no one, especially me – is disagreeing with the messaging. The messaging is a powerful message. It’s a message of remembrance. It’s a message of memory.
It’s not about the messaging; it’s literally about the rules and the regulations. In this case – the field of play – we have to be able to keep a safe environment for everyone. And sadly, that just means no messaging is allowed.
We could find ways where we can pay homage to his message, to his helmet, before he races. And sadly, we’ve not been able to come to that solution.
We have these rules in place to try and be fair, and also to try and allow for us to do both things: to allow for athletes to express themselves, but also to allow for athletes to be safe.
For me, I was not speaking to him in that room as a president. I’m speaking to him as an athlete. I really wanted to see him race today.”
On an exceptional basis, after the very respectful conversation with the athlete, Coventry asked the IOC Disciplinary Commission (DC) Chair to re-consider the withdrawal of Vladyslav Heraskevych’s accreditation for the Milano Cortina 2026 Games. The Chair of the IOC DC agreed to the request, which means Mr Heraskevych can continue to be at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games despite not being able to compete.
