@Timberloo@DriveBC@Patrick60065261 What's the way to change this in the future? There needs to be more transparency rather than updates every two hours.
Want to know what happens when commercial TEEs meet improvised DRAM memory interposers? SGX mayhem including attestation key extraction. Please DO try that at home😉. Check out our work at https://t.co/JyvHP48nez
This work has been made possible with the contributios of many colleagues and collaborators. I am very grateful to all of them.

This talk runs a little over an hour because I wanted to cover all of our past work on Project STEMA. Some parts go into more depth than others, but I tried to include everything. The journey has been very rewarding, and I’m very grateful to my collaborators.

@AlisoNJMutler@universulnet@universul An interesting question is: are the poor in a country like Romania better or worse off in capitalism than in communism?
Spendind many years in both USA and Canada, I can't help to notice how the poor in USA are much worse off than in Canada even though USA is a "richer" country.
After a long hiatus, it looks like I can finally hire a summer intern. While I have a couple of problems in mind, I always try to stay open to new ideas.

If you’re not ready to pitch an idea but have strong systems-building and communication skills, don’t hesitate to reach out. I can share one of my own ideas with you. 😀

My talk from SOSP '23 on our paper "Siloz: Leveraging DRAM Isolation Domains to Prevent Inter-VM Rowhammer" is now online. Hope you enjoy! https://t.co/ftgUDKBUme
Joint w/ Jonah Rosenblum, @tzoompy, @AlecWolman, Dimitrios Skarlatos, and @bariskasikci.
My keynote is designed to cater to everyone, from Rowhammer veterans to those new to the topic. There's a lot happening in the Rowhammer world, and I hope to provide valuable insights for all attendees.

"Six Years of Rowhammer" is the title of my keynote presentation at DRAMSec. I'll be presenting on Saturday at 1 PM Eastern / 4 PM Pacific. You can join remotely by requesting a link from sqazi at google dot com. If you are attending ISCA, I'd love for you to attend in person.
@AndrewCMyers After years of muttering under my breath about the declining quality of systems papers, I read a few major ML papers. Suddenly, I found myself overflowing with a newfound respect—for the systems papers!
DRAMSec has a huge impact because it attracts audiences from both academia and industry. Once published at DRAMSec, your work gains significant visibility among key players in both sectors. It’s hard to achieve greater impact than this.
The 4th Workshop on DRAM Security, co-located with ISCA, has now posted the Call for Papers. Submission deadline: May 17.
The PC chairs are: Moinuddin Qureshi & Salman Qazi.

@bgurley This is about technology dominance, not open source. As per the article, the security implications are:
<quote>to prevent China "from achieving dominance in ... RISC-V technology and leveraging that dominance at the expense of U.S. national and economic security."</quote>
@gururajS92 PRAC is optional in DDR5. DRAM vendors have made no information public with respect to adoption times. Unfortunately, this is an area that's very sensitive for them, and I'm afraid I cannot comment. Sorry Gururaj.
Hugely exciting development -- the new DDR5 specification has been released! It introduces PRAC, a new mechanism designed to prevent Rowhammer. While PRAC has the potential to effectively neutralize Rowhammer, implementing it effectively is challenging.
