The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been designated under the National Security (State Threats) Act.

Anyone who supports or assists the IRGC, or receives payment from it, could face 14 years in prison.

Those who commit acts of sabotage could face life imprisonment.

Today, Masoud Payahoo, who published the video from which this iconic image was captured, has been sentenced to ten years in prison.

While many journalists and media outlets inside Iran remain silent about the regime’s crackdown and abuses, citizen journalists continue to pay a heavy price to ensure that the protests and the government’s actions are documented and seen. Masoud Piho is now one of them.

More than 2,000 British Iranians and their allies have called on the UK government to proscribe the IRGC as a terrorist organisation, a regime force responsible for decades of terror, repression, and threats beyond Iran’s borders.

موج اخراج و تعلیق در دانشگاه‌ها؛ احکام سنگین کمیته‌های انضباطی علیه دانشجویان

بر اساس گزارش اختصاصی رسیده به #خبرنامه_امیرکبیر، در روزهای اخیر شمار قابل‌توجهی از دانشجویان در دانشگاه‌های آریامهر (شریف)، پلی‌تکنیک (امیرکبیر)، دانشگاه تهران و علم‌وصنعت با احکام تعلیق و اخراج از سوی کمیته‌ها و شوراهای انضباطی مواجه شده‌اند؛ احکامی که بنا بر گزارش‌ها، در برخی موارد همراه با محرومیت از تحصیل در سایر دانشگاه‌ها نیز بوده است.

در یکی از احکام صادر شده که تصویری از آن به دست خبرنامه امیرکبیر رسیده است، «شورای انضباطی بدوی» با استناد به مواردی که «تخلف» نامیده شده، از جمله «هتک حرمت اشخاص»، «اهانت به مقدسات دینی»، «انتشار موضوعات غیراخلاقی» و همچنین «هواداری از گروه‌های محارب»، برای یک دانشجو حکم اخراج از دانشگاه را صادر کرده و در متن حکم، محرومیت از تحصیل در کلیه دانشگاه‌ها تا ۵ سال نیز ذکر شده است.

​در گزارشی دیگر و به گفته منابع مطلع، مهیار افتخاری، دانشجوی رشته پلیمر دانشگاه تهران، در فرآیندی غیرقانونی و با حکم کمیته انضباطی این دانشگاه، به مدت دو ترم از تحصیل محروم شد. فرایند صدور حکم تعلیق این دانشجو، کاملاً غیرقانونی طی شده و به صورت غیابی انجام گرفته است. بر اساس شیوه‌نامه انضباطی وزارت علوم، تشکیل جلسه به صورت غیرحضوری یا تلفنی مجاز نبوده و احکام صادره به این طریق فاقد اعتبارند.

پیش از این نیز امیرمحمد کریمی، دیگر دانشجوی رشته مهندسی پلیمر دانشگاه تهران که هم‌اکنون در بازداشت به سر می‌برد، در حین بازداشت به صورت غیابی به دو ترم محرومیت از تحصیل محکوم شده بود. همچنین گزارش‌‌های دیگری از احضار و صدور حکم غیابی انضباطی برای دیگر دانشجویان دانشگاه تهران و همچنین دانشجویان دانشگاه ملی (بهشتی) به دست خبرنامه امیرکبیر رسیده است.

این گزارش‌ها در حالی منتشر می‌شود که دانشجویان و خانواده‌ها از تشدید فشارهای انضباطی و امنیتی در فضای دانشگاه‌ها خبر می‌دهند. پس از خیزش شجاعانه دانشجویان در اسفندماه، سرکوب خاموش دانشجویان در سایه قطع اینترنت و مجازی شدن کلاس‌های درس، افزایش چشمگیری داشته است.

This past weekend, Iranians protested globally yet again. This to highlight the executions that are taking place under the Islamic Republic. Every day, at least one political prisoner is being executed and the world is remaining silent. No To Executions.

This is exactly why the IRGC should be proscribed in the UK, with those measures strongly enforced. As members of the Iranian community in the UK, many of us have faced sporadic attacks, intimidation, and threats, both online and in person, from regime supporters. We escaped these extremist forces in search of safety, so it’s deeply concerning to see their influence and harassment continue here.

A terrorist attack took place in Toronto.

Following the conclusion of an Iranian rally in Richmond Hill, Toronto, held in response to the call of Crown Prince @PahlaviReza , a vehicle displaying the flag of the Islamic Republic drove into the crowd, injuring several people.

The driver of the attacking vehicle has been arrested.
